About
Welcome to Palmsugar Thai To-Go, an enchanting Thai eatery nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, specifically located at 6732 Crenshaw Blvd. As a food reviewer at Foodjoyy, I'm excited to introduce you to this exceptional brand that not only highlights the vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine but also promotes a unique culture of inclusivity and sustainability.
Among the highlights on the menu, the Yellow Curry with Rice stands out as a true comfort food classic. With its rich combination of potatoes, onions, and carrots simmered in a spicy curry sauce, it offers both depth and heat—perfect for those who can handle genuine Thai spice.
If seafood is your preference, don't miss the Crab Fried Rice, although keep in mind that your cravings for crab might not be entirely satiated as the portion of crab is modest. It’s prepared with a mouthwatering flavor, enhanced by luscious butter and garlic.
Palmsugar provides a comfortable setting, featuring outdoor seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The establishment is both women-owned and Asian-owned, embodying a spirit of community and empowerment. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry companions along for the dining experience.
In conclusion, Palmsugar Thai To-Go presents an exciting opportunity to dive into authentic Thai flavors while promoting responsible dining practices. Whether you opt for a spicy curry or seek the satisfaction of a hearty fried rice, each dish is crafted to deliver satisfaction. Trust me; it's a place worth visiting time and again!

“ The food was delicious! A little pricey but well worth it. Take out only. Don't care for the location but hey, food was great. ”
“ Kate reached out to me and is trying to rectify the situation so I appreciate that. Word to the wise DO NOT use door dash or Square. ”
“ Consistently great Thai food every time. I really love the pad, Thai noodles and the pad see you ! ”
“ I had the crab fried rice and it was very delicious, very flavorful. The shipping sauce they gave is amazing! I'm just disappointed with the amount of crab they give. It's like a pinch of crab that sits, flatly, on top of a fried egg. You can see in the pictures that the crab just sits on the egg. It's not mixed in to the rice. I wouldn't buy it again for 24 dollars but I would try other dishes 1.23.25 replying to message - its ok! Thanks for the offer. I'll be back to try another dish later. The flavor was amazing ”
“ Have been pleasant experience with Palmsugar! Their attention was really impressive and remarkable. Food was delicious, tasty. Atmosphere was really cool. Will definitely visit this place again! ”
“ The spicy fried rice is very delicious and highly recommended and the Thai tea is very good. ”
“ Editing my review after the owner reply as I realized that the price difference is only due to grubhub ordering. Order from the website!! If you don't it's a higher price. Pick up only place in a ghost kitchen. From the street there is a Rent a Kitchen sign. I read reviews and a lot of people were raving about the crab rangoon. They were fine but just regular crab rangoon. I also got cashew nut chicken medium spicy. I read reviews that said the spice level is elevated but I wouldn't say so. I do love spicy food and maybe next time I would get spicy level. It was tasty and I could taste the fish sauce. I liked the addition of the Thai chillies in fish sauce given in a container on the side which made it nice and spicy. Thai tea was fine but it is sweet although on the ordering menu it says it's not so sweet. Overall, the food was good but be aware that ordering on Yelp/grubhub has different prices than the website so order on their website! There are not many food options in this area so it's a nice option for lunch. Thank you to the owner for the clarification! ”
“ So so good. I've been looking for a new thai recommendation and stumbled upon this place. I tried the glass noodle salad (medium kick) and pad see ew (medium). The green Thai tea is stellar too. Both had a good spice level, but the real star was the authentic flavors. A bit on the pricier side, but well worth it. The only down side is that I would only get this delivered. The location is not parking friendly-- highly recommend ordering this to go. ”
“ Wow. Wow wow wow. I just ordered takeout from Palmsugar, and I am astonished by the quality of this food! I had the massaman curry with chicken, and it was absolutely the best massaman I've had on the west coast. Perfect balance of flavors and heat. A quick note about heat: I asked for mild but even less spicy, as recommended on Door Dash for new customers -- this was not only accommodated, but the folks packaging my food added extra spice in a container, which I really appreciated. In addition, I had the spring rolls, and they were perfectly crunchy and had a wonderful balance of flavors and textures. My fiancée gave two thumbs up on the drunken noodles with tofu This will likely be my new go-to spot for curry! I can't wait to try everything else on the menu (especially these crab rangoons that everyone is talking about on here)! ”
